ALBAWABA- An Israeli drone strike targeted a car in the Hermel area of eastern Lebanon, killing two people and injuring another, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
This marks the second Israeli attack in less than 24 hours, further violating the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon.
A day earlier, another Israeli airstrike hit eastern Lebanon, killing two and injuring two others near the town of Janta in the eastern mountain range.
The continued escalation has drawn condemnation, with Al-Mayadeen’s correspondent confirming that Israeli forces also fired flares over Alma al-Shaab in southern Lebanon.
Meanwhile, the French Foreign Ministry reiterated the necessity of Israel's withdrawal as per agreements with Lebanon and stressed the importance of respecting Syria’s sovereignty, rejecting Israel’s presence in the buffer zone.
