Israeli Foreign Minister Shlomo Ben Ami was holding talks in Berlin Thursday with German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer on the state of the Middle East negotiations, the foreign ministry said.
Ben Ami's stop in Berlin follows talks with the Swedish government, which has just taken over the presidency of the European Union.
The minister said Wednesday while in Stockholm that it would be a "providential miracle" if Israel and the Palestinians reached a peace agreement this month before the end of US President Bill Clinton's term of office -- BERLIN (AFP)
