Israeli strikes hit Hezbollah targets in Southern Lebanon

ALBAWABA - In a recent development, the Israeli military executed airstrikes in southern Lebanon, specifically targeting a health facility linked to Hezbollah and striking five residential homes. 

The aftermath of the attack resulted in the complete destruction of the targeted residences. This escalation adds to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, claiming numerous lives.

The Israeli military reportedly carried out the strikes in the town of Kefrkilla, focusing on a civilian defense center associated with the "Islamic Health Committee" and an ambulance. Additionally, the town of Merkeba witnessed airstrikes that targeted and demolished five houses.

The protracted conflict between the Israeli military and the Hezbollah movement, persisting since October 8, 2023, has led to a substantial loss of life. The casualties include 164 Hezbollah members, 29 Lebanese civilians, 6 Israeli civilians, and 10 Israeli military personnel.

As tensions persist, the situation remains fluid, with both sides navigating the complexities of the ongoing conflict.
