ALBAWABA - Israeli fighter jets launched an airstrike on an apartment in a three-storey residential building near the Al-Sarayah roundabout in the Al-Mazzah suburb of Damascus.

Israeli fighter jets carried out another airstrike on a residential building near the Al-Sahaba Mosque in Qudsaya, Rif Dimashq, causing loud booms and heavy smoke to rise from both places, prompting medics to rush to the scene.

The airstrikes killed four unnamed people in the Al-Mazzah neighborhood, caused substantial damage to residential buildings, and sparked fires.

SOHR documented 149 incidents in 2024, including 123 bombings and 26 rocket attacks by ground forces. Israel hit many places in Syria, destroying almost 267 targets, including buildings, weapons and ammunition stockpiles, headquarters, centers, and vehicles. These airstrikes killed 288 militants and injured 245 more.
