Israel's foreign ministry has asked members of Knesset to "brush up on their spoken English" before giving interviews to foreign news agencies, reported The Jerusalem Post newspaper.
The ministry has received numerous complaints in the past few months about MKs giving interviews to the foreign press in a language vaguely resembling English, said the paper.
According to the ministry, the ministers' poor English-language skills detracted from Israel's ability to get its side of the story across in the current conflict with the Palestinians, said the paper -- Albawaba.com
