Senior management at Al Raha Beach hotel, Abu Dhabi’s first boutique resort, are showcasing the property to the regional and international markets for summer with a two-night, three-day, value-added package.

The Summer Mini-Break rates are Dhs710 (US$193) per person for a two-night package, based on double occupancy, Wednesday to Friday. The two night/three day package price is inclusive of a spacious Gulf view room, buffet breakfast, Friday Brunch and transfers from Abu Dhabi airport.  Stays will be valid from June 1st until September 30th, 2005, for UAE and GCC residents.

Value-added concessions include guaranteed early check in and late check out, and two children under 12 years of age may stay in the room for free, paying half-price on all regular food and beverage.

Already popular for weekend holidays with Abu Dhabi and Dubai residents, the hotel seeks further exposure in the GCC and beyond during the quieter summer months.

According to director of sales and marketing, Christian Dangel, the hotel guests enjoy the luxury surroundings and spacious rooms overlooking the Arabian Sea – and the knowledge that, for many of them, a weekend away no longer involves a trip to the airport.

“We’ve looked closely at what Al Raha Beach has to offer – a secluded luxury resort within easy drive of both Dubai and Abu Dhabi – and tailored a two-night package to match. After all, one night away is never enough!”

Summer Mini-Break guests also have access to the leisure facilities at the resort, including health club and spa, indoor and outdoor pools, gym, squash courts, water sports, kids playground.

Al Raha Beach Hotel has a selection of dining outlets including the all-day dining venue, Sevilla; the evening piano bar, Black Pearl; the Al Manzil clubhouse; the poolside restaurant, La Piscine; and the Mozart Café lobby lounge.

Al Raha Beach Hotel is operated by Danat Hotels & Resorts, the umbrella brand for the hotel division of National Corporation for Tourism & Hotels (NCT&H).

Capitalising on the growing reputation of the Arabian Gulf for exceptional hospitality and customer-focused service, Danat Hotels & Resorts’ gradual expansion aims to establish a name that will be recognised as a quality mark by customers in the Middle East and overseas.

Danat Hotels & Resorts, a division of the Abu Dhabi-based National Corporation for Tourism & Hotels (NCT&H) manages two new five-star resorts, the Danat Resort Jebel Dhanna and the Al Raha Beach Hotel, as well as a cluster of four-star properties in the emirate. The hotels are either owned and/or managed by the group, or where the group is the owner-representative.

The National Corporation for Tourism & Hotels (NCT&H) was formed in 1996 in response to the need to develop both tourism and commerce in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), especially Abu Dhabi.

The Corporation was formed as a semi-government organisation. NCT&H’s primary objective is to promote Abu Dhabi as an international destination, manage hotels and provide transportation and industrial catering services.
