Jafza unveils its new information packed promotional tools

Jafza (Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority) has unveiled its new information packed promotional tools, including a revamped website, a new corporate video, Jafza directory, brochure, investor guide and a rules & regulations guide, to update prospective clients, government organisations and the general public on the recent developments, growth and achievements of the free zone.
This initiative by Jafza is expected to attract more clients to the free zone as it will draw attention to the various infrastructure facilities and services at Jafza and Dubai Ports.
Abdullah Al Banna, Marketing Manager, Jafza, said: “Over the past few years Jafza has been actively promoting itself regionally and internationally by strategically involving ourselves in several exhibitions, seminars and events, specifically targeting our key audience. Our latest effort comes at a time when Dubai is witnessing rapid all round development and growth and we felt a need to enhance our promotional tools, bearing in mind the changing requirements of companies, investors and government departments.”
“We are confident that this initiative will reinforce Jafza’s position as one of the largest and fastest growing free zones in the world, offering high quality infrastructure facilities and value added services to our customers and providing unlimited possibilities for industrial development,” he added.
Jafza’s website has been totally revamped with a host of new features, complementing the eGovernment services of Dubai Government. The extremely user-friendly and informative website also enables users to fill out online enquiry forms, or apply for a registration of a company.
“The look and feel of the website is in accordance with Jafza’s new branding and we have incorporated career and news sections in the site. The news section will feature all Jafza related news such as major announcements, new companies registering at the free zone and our participation in key events,” remarked Al Banna.
The website also features important statistical charts and figures on each page, highlighting various developments and factual figures of Jafza. The portal provides a 360-degree panoramic view of Jafza’s facilities, which will benefit prospective clients.
Further, the career section that has been included to the website, ensures easy reference of the types of jobs available within Jafza and facilitates people to apply via the online form, which will be collected directly by the Human Resources Department for further processing.
In addition to the already existing FAQ’s section, a general website search engine has also been incorporated to the site, enabling visitors to get the required information.
Jafza’s latest corporate video presents a comprehensive view of Jafza, from its history to its modern infrastructure. The 12-minute DVD also features a segment on Dubai and several client testimonials. The video has excellent aerial shots along with special clippings collected from various government departments and other sources, to present a complete picture of Jafza and its activities.
Jafza has also launched a directory in Arabic and English that lists the names, contact details and services offered by of all companies located at Jafza. It serves as an important marketing tool for the free zone companies, allowing them to advertise their products and services and ensuring wide publicity. Jafza alone will utilize several thousand copies of the directory in its various trade shows and presentations, besides distributing it to all the overseas offices of Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) and Jafza consultants. The general public can also pick up a copy of this directory from Jafza, which means that totally over 10,000 copies will be utilized annually. Continent Advertising will publish the directory on behalf of Jafza every year.
The well-designed Jafza brochure is also rich in information, highlighting Jafza’s focus and commitment, the incentives for companies¸ the range of facilities offered and useful details of Dubai Ports Authority and its services. The brochure has been designed as per Jafza’s new brand guidelines and uses the highest quality paper.
“Jafza has released a very informative guide for investors, providing details on how to set up a company in the free zone. It explains all the required licensing and registration procedure and lists the main terms and conditions of Jafza,” Al Banna added.
Another important introduction by Jafza is the rules and regulations guide, which is a detailed listing of all the rules that companies establishing operations at the free zone are expected to follow.
“By strategically promoting Jafza and publicizing the array of amenities, infrastructure and benefits for companies, we hope to give an opportunity for more regional and international investors to effectively target the high potential markets around the UAE with their products and services. Jafza’s tremendous success over the years is a result of the co-operation and support of government departments, educational institutions and our clients.
