Kuwait and Dubai based low fares airline Jazeera Airways (KSE: Jazeera, Bloomberg: Jazeera KK, Reuters: JAZK.KW) announced today that it has appointed a new Sales Manager for the UAE. Suzanne Miller joins the airline with 13 years of experience in the industry, having worked for a major international carrier and airline consultancy group - across markets in Europe and Asia.

In her new role, Suzanne will be responsible for the operations of Jazeera Airways’ sales teams across the UAE. She will focus on stepping up the airlines’ sales figures with corporations and individuals around the country, in line with Jazeera’s vision to grow its overall sales from the Dubai hub. Suzanne will join an already strong team in the UAE lead by Jazeera’s Country Manager, Rethah Mousawi..

“At Jazeera Airways we understand the importance of having highly qualified talent running our sales operations - especially during these challenging economic times. With plans to grow our business further and increase the number of passengers choosing to fly Jazeera, it is hugely important that we choose the right people that are committed to- and can work inline with- our company’s vision,” commented Jazeera Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer, Steven Greenway. “Suzanne’s proven track record in proficiently managing and growing sales for one of the biggest airlines in the world, in some of the world’s most dynamic markets, means that she is an ideal partner as we work to grow the Jazeera business.”

Suzanne started her career at Speedwing, a subsidiary of British Airways, which offered consultancy and systems installation to global airlines and involved working in Africa, Oman, Hong Kong and Europe. For the past eight years, she has worked in various sales roles in British Airways and most recently worked for BA in Delhi; managing the corporate sales team and training the commercial sales staff in new processes and systems.

Jazeera Airways currently operates a fleet of eight new Airbus A320s from its two hubs in Kuwait and Dubai. Each aircraft is fitted with the airline’s signature leather seating, while the Jazeera Plus (J+) cabin offers business travellers the highest standards of comfort, relaxation and a range of in-flight amenities. The airline flies to destinations in the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, Iran, and the Indian subcontinent.
