ALBAWABA - Jordanian Armed Forces near the border with Syria announced shooting down a drone loaded with narcotics that was coming from Syria.
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the Jordan Armed Forces said: "A drone was shot down at the front of the eastern military region loaded with narcotics."
during August month, the Jordanian forces announced destroying three drones and violating airspace from Syria towards the Jordanian border.
The Jordanian Armed Forces released a statement quoting an official military source in the Jordanian army: "The Border Guard forces, in coordination with the Drug Control Department and the military security services, detected a drone attempting to illegally cross the border from Syrian territory into Jordanian territory, and it was shot down inside Jordanian territory."
The statement continued that the drone was found after being shot down by forces and was loaded with a quantity of crystal (narcotic) as well ass it was transferred to the competent authorities.
