Jordan and Mauritania discussed ways of expanding bilateral ties in various fields, reported the official Petra news agency Friday.

The topic topped the agenda of a meeting between Jordan’s minister of state for administrative development, Mohammad Thneibat, and Mauritanian President Moaya Ould Sidi Ahmed Al-Taya, said the agency.

The minister arrived in Mauritania on Thursday.

Thneibat also delivered a message from King Abdullah to Taya, inviting him to the Arab summit to be held in Amman later this month, said the agency – Albawaba.com
