Jumbo Electronics Company appoints new Chief Executive Officer

Jumbo Electronics has announced the appointment of Deepak Khetrapal as Chief Executive Officer of the Group. Mr Khetrapal, a former Chief Operating Officer and Whole-time Director of Raymonds Limited, Mumbai, commences his new role effective today.
Mr Khetrapal brings over 30 years of working experience in industries as diverse as Banking, Distribution of Security Systems and Textiles Manufacturing & Retail. He started his career in Banking with State Bank of India (SBI) in 1976. He later joined the Turner Morrison Group as Director Finance & Commercial. In 1994 he became CEO and Managing Director of Steelage Industries, a Group company of Williams plc and Turner Morrison. 
Mr Khetrapal, an alumni of Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi University, was President, Asia-Pacific of Gunnebo AB, a Swedish multinational. Based in Singapore he managed businesses across Australasia, China, India & Southeast Asia.
Mr Khetrapal holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance. He follows previous CEO Peter McElwaine who had left Jumbo Electronics in mid May after over two years with the company.
