Up and coming actor Karim Abdul Aziz finds himself in a tight spot after signing an exclusivity contract with the Egyptian producer Wael Abdullah, reported Al Ittihad newspaper.
According to the UAE based daily, Karim, was forced to withdraw from a leading role in Al Banat (The Girls), released by the Oscar Production company because of the exclusivity contract.
The actor had hoped to avoid publicity regarding the contract, but was forced to spill all when he was constantly badgered about the reasons behind his withdrawal from The Girls.
The contract stipulates that Karim will have to star in three different films with producer Abdullah, seconed of which was to be the Oscar production. However, negotiations between Abdullah and Oscar’s owner Rafat Al Mihi failed.
Consequently, Karim was immediately replaced with another up-and-coming actor, Hani Salameh.
Meanwhile, Karim is currently waiting for the release of his first movie with Abdullah, Leih Khalleitny Ahhibak? (Why Did You Make Me Love You?), in which he stars alongside Hanan El Turk, Mona Zaki, Hala Sheeha and Ahmad Hilmi – Albawaba.com.
