Kharabeesh, a creative Jordanian cartoon studio developing original and unique Arabic content for the Arab world's growing online community, have produced two new Arabic language cartoon shows for the Holy Month of Ramadan that cater to the region's new media users.

Ehsebha Sah is a 15 episode mini cartoon Web series, in cooperation with the prominent Dr. Amjad Qoursha, who tackles a variety of the region's social issues and problems from a religious standpoint. Kharabeesh's second show is Kharabeet Alf Leeleh We Leeleh; a humorous and interactive Ramadan cartoon series, presented in a contest format using the classic Arabian Nights characters to explore stories and issues concerning the Arab youth of today.

Wael Attili, Head of Creative Product Development at Kharabeesh, stated, "The availability of original Arabic content online is a key objective of the ICT community in the region. At Kharabeesh we are trying to meet that need. We are focused on creating and producing original Arabic content that can be accessed by our regional audience through a comprehensive range of mediums including mobile, web, TV, and in some cases even print. Our aim is to establish an Arabic presence on the web that will highlight our traditions and culture to everyone, everywhere."

The cartoon shows are available on numerous websites including popular sites such as YouTube and Ikbis, in addition to being broadcast during Ramadan on local Jordanian satellite TV stations.

In line with its mission to increase the existence of Arabic content on the Web, Kharabeesh has already created a number of popular animated series including Khat Ahmar, the BU Khashims, Super Muhtram, in addition to popular characters such as the clay puppet Hazzaz and The Mini Entrepreneur. Kharabeesh has also partnered with Google to develop content for Google's Ahlan Online, an Arabic Website dedicated to providing MENA region users with the skills they need to navigate the internet using Google tools.
