Iranian President Mohammad Khatami will only attend next weekend's Islamic summit in Doha if host country Qatar breaks its ties with Israel, state television said Wednesday.
The report said the decision by Iran, the outgoing head of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), was conveyed to the Qatari authorities Wednesday by the head of Khatami's office, Mohammad-Ali Abtahi.
The television also said that Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharazi had also postponed a trip to Doha for a meeting of his OIC counterparts -- TEHRAN (AFP)
