Lamborghini enters Jordan with dealership in Amman

Automobili Lamborghini has opened its first dealership in Jordan. Lamborghini Amman  officially launches  its purpose-built showroom premises in the capital city on 15 December 2008.
Operated by Integrated Automotive, Lamborghini Amman is located in a new showroom on King Abdullah II Street, near the King Hussein Medical City. Separate aftersales facilities are based ten minutes away.
“We are extremely pleased to be entering the Jordanian market, which complements our existing network of franchised outlets in the Middle East,” said Automobili Lamborghini SpA President and CEO Stephan Winkelmann. “Integrated Automotive has been appointed as our partner in Jordan in recognition of its established motor retailing activities as well as its status as a significant group of companies in the region. Representing the Lamborghini franchise is not just about automotive sales and service, but about understanding the luxury and lifestyle aspects of our brand. We also require the highest levels of professionalism and commercial competency from our partners, in order that we may develop and invest in our Lamborghini franchise network of the future. The opening of a Jordanian dealership illustrates our commitment to further developing the significant Middle East market for Lamborghini.”
Integrated Automotive is part of a 30-strong industrial conglomerate of businesses within the Nuqul Group, particularly recognised locally for its FINE tissue brand. The group owns the largest car showroom in Jordan, and is the exclusive importer and distributor for other Volkswagen Group brands including Audi and also Porsche.
“We are proud to represent Lamborghini in Jordan, which presents significant market opportunity for Lamborghini,” said Marwan Nuqul, board member of Integrated Automotive. “The Jordanian market for luxury and performance brands is growing, and we have invested substantially in premises and infrastructure to both take advantage of the potential and ensure we properly represent the Lamborghini brand.”
With the addition of the Jordan location, Lamborghini is represented by nine dealerships in the Middle East and 121 worldwide, expanding from a total of 65 dealers at the beginning of 2004. In the first six months of 2008 Lamborghini has increased its sales in the Middle East region by 23%, with a further 50% increase in sales anticipated within the next two years.
