Leading UK Marketing Academics Stage Bahrain Workshop

Proposed Launch of new MSc in Strategic Marketing and Sales Management

 

Three of the UK’s leading marketing academics are to deliver keynote lectures on the latest thinking in international marketing practise at a one day workshop in Bahrain.

 

The workshop will focus on providing “Winning Marketing Practices for Competitive Advantage” and is being staged by Bahrain based Management Development Centre International. It will be held at the Golden Tulip Hotel on Monday October 27th from 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.

 

The three speakers will be Professor Constantine S. Katsikeas [ Arnold Ziff Research Chair in Marketing and International Management at Leeds University Business School] Professor Leyland Pitt, [Professor of  Marketing Segal Graduate School of Business, Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, Canada, and Snr. Research Fellow at Leeds University Business School]  and Dr. Dayananda Palihawadana [Director of Studies and the Director of MSc in International Marketing Management Program at Leeds University Business School].

 

Mr Robert Rice, managing director of MDCI Ltd, says: “The Professors are all leading marketing experts.  Professors Katsikeas is also acknowledged as being the leading European academic in his field so this is a tremendous opportunity for the Bahraini business community to connect with the latest thinking on international marketing.”

 

The conference will also mark the introduction of The University of Leeds Business School Masters’ Programme in Strategic Marketing and Sales Management in early 2009 in conjunction with MDCI.
