Lebanese Parliament to Meet in Southern Lebanon

Lebanon's parliament will hold a plenary session for the first time in the village of Bint Jbeil Wednesday, three kilometers from the Israeli border, the parliament speaker announced. 

The session will be held mid-morning at the state secondary (high) school in the village which was occupied till Wednesday by Israel, Nabih Berri said in a statement published by the official ANI news agency. 

"To build on the victory, there is one point on the table for the session of parliament, which has been the guardians of the resistance and a factor in the liberation - that is the government program for reconstruction in the liberated areas," he said – BEIRUT (AFP)
