LG Electronics Announces First Quarter Evaluation Results
Another Successful LG Media Club Meeting

In the interest of strengthening ties with members of its Media Club and in celebration of its latest accomplishments, global digital and mobile communications leader LG Electronics announced its first quarter evaluation results at its quarterly Media gathering. The event was held at the Four Seasons Hotel on February 10, and included a meeting and lunch for attendees.

The Media Club gathering was attended by the Managing Director of LG Electronics Levant, Mr. Kevin Cha, Chairman of the Board of the Middle East Complex (MEC), Mr. Osama Al Khalili, Sales Manager of Advanced Mobile Business Company (AMB), Mr. Yousef Hamad, and Sales Manager of 7Global, Mr. Mousa Hajarat, in addition to representatives from LG Electronics and its distributors in Jordan.

The event demonstrates LG Electronics’ flourishing relationship with members of its Jordan Media Club, the efforts of whom have helped position LG as a premium brand in the Kingdom. The common goal of the two parties is to serve the community, providing consumers with the best communication and the most up-to-date information available.  In recognition of such efforts, three winning members of the Media Club were announced and rewarded with LG Notebooks X110. A small presentation on the Notebook X110 was then given, expounding the advances of this latest cutting-edge product.

LG took the opportunity at the gathering to introduce AMB –LG’s new mobile phone dealer- to the media members. Also on the agenda was the revelation of a new incentive program for Media Club members, the LG Star, through which the top winner from each quarter stands the chance of being named the star at the end of the year.
Commenting on the event, Mr. Cha said, “it is a given fact that we always feel that we, at LG, and the media are one family, and it is with this in mind that the LG Media Club was initiated. These gratifying results bear witness to the positive role the members of our Media Club have played in supporting LG in Jordan, and we would like to take this opportunity to show our abiding appreciation for and confidence in them. Our mutual support of one another continues to pay dividends, and we anticipate further cooperation, especially in light of the rewards and benefits we have lined up for our Media Club in 2009.”
It is worth noting that, during the proceedings of the event, LG Electronics also announced its 16th sponsorship of the LG Dead Sea Ultra Marathon (DSUM).
