LG Electronics Opens Mobile Phone Center at City Mall
Following the Wide Reception of its Latest Phones

LG Electronics (LG), global leader and technology innovator in consumer electronics, opened a mobile phone center at City Mall, on April 15, 2009, in the presence of a number of representatives from the media and officials from LG and 7Global, a mobile phone distributor of LG’s.

During the opening, a demonstration was given displaying the advantages of the Cookie phone which was recently launched by LG at an affordable introductory price, placing it within reach of all customers. This attractively-priced full touch screen handset is complete with the latest touch technology and features found in the existing high-end full touch screen handsets currently available on the market.

From his end, the Managing Director of LG Electronics Levant, Mr. Kevin Cha, said, “The opening of a mobile phone center at City Mall comes in response to the wide reception of our latest phones, especially the Wael Kfoury and Cookie phones which have up-to-the-minute touch screen technology, in addition to a variety of thrilling options. We, at LG Electronics, continuously strive to develop and enhance touch screen technology in our new mobile phones.”

From another angle, Chairman of 7Global, Mr. Hani Qudsi, said, “We are confident that the LG Electronics mobile center will meet with great success from customers, particularly since it will display a diverse selection of mobile phones which suit customers’ different needs and requirements.”

It is worth noting that the Company recently announced that it has sold over 150,000 LG Cookie handsets in the first five weeks of its launch through a single retail outlet. More recently, 6,000 to 7,000 LG Cookies are being grabbed off the shelves each day and with ever expanding popularity and demand, this number is only expected to grow. It is worth mentioning that LG phones rank third globally.
