Russia's minister for emergency situations Sergei Shoigu will fly to Tripoli on Wednesday to take part in the 4th session of the intergovernmental commission on scientific, technical, trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Libya, the Russian News Agency (Itar Tass) reported.
Both sides, according to agency, are expected to discuss a draft program of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries up to the year 2010, and a wide range of issues pertaining to oil and gas, nuclear energy, transport, agriculture and banking, as well as humanitarian mine-clearing in Libya.
Russia has concluded a number of inter-governmental agreements as a way of cooperating with world countries, such as east European countries,India and especially states that used to form the former USSR before 1989, -- Albawaba.com
