Armed bandits on Monday ambushed and robbed the financial attache of the Libyan Embassy in Kampala, AllAfrica.com reported.
Police were quoted by the agency as saying that the envoy had just withdrawn a large sum of money from the Tropical Arab Bank.
He was reportedly on his way back to the embassy when the robbers overtook him, blocked his car, and robbed him at gunpoint – Albawaba.com
