Mahindra Satyam, the new brand identity of Satyam Computer Services Ltd. (NYSE:SAY), a leading global consulting and IT services provider, hosted a customer focused roadshow in Kuwait City yesterday, with aims to emphasize among clients and partners its commitment to the regional market and ensure that its strategy for 2010 addresses their needs. C.P. Gurnani, Chief Executive Officer was accompanied by top Mahindra Satyam officials Lalatendu Mishra, Vice President, Delivery and Manojeet Chowdhury, Head of Middle East and North Africa who attended the meet. The leadership shared the Mahindra Satyam vision and the growth strategy and interacted with the customers.
Faizel Haddad, Partner, Ernst & Young, delivered the keynote address on ‘Current Financial Crisis - Lessons from Change’ and shared his perspectives with the audience. 30 senior managers of leading Kuwaiti companies like Kuwait Oil Tanker Company (KOTC), Kuwaiti Danish Dairy Company (KDD), Zain, Al Shaya, Mezzan Holding Company, Viva Telecom, attended this roadshow and shared their views. Indian Ambassador to Kuwait, Mr. Ajai Malhotra also participated in the event and shared his recommendation to work with Mahindra Satyam. At present, Kuwait accounts for 18 per cent of Mahindra Satyam’s Middle East revenues and is home to a number of high profile companies that are among the company’s 200 existing customers in the region.
