The Dubai Autodrome Motor Sport Club Raceday 4 went underway this Friday, March 31 involving three championships, each consisting of two races for the Toyo GTI Cup and the Gulfsport Radical Cup while the UAE National Superstock Bike Championship saw three races as one was cancelled during Raceday 3 due to the rainy weather conditions.
The podium was shared three times by the same drivers in the UAE National Superstock Bike Championship each maintaining their respective positions. Grant Yake proved time and again that he is unbeatable as he clinched top position, Abdul Aziz from Saudi Arabia managed to take second position while Johnnie Pienaar rounded the podium.
In the Gulf Radical Cup, Jean Yves Mallat put a blistering performance to take two deserved wins after competing head to tail against Kareem Al Azhari and Robert Simpson. Al Azhari who won the last three Racedays, went down one step on the podium to take second position in both races. Third position was shared by two drivers as Robert Simpson took the first race while Nicky Wilson took the second.
The Toyo GTI Cup witnessed a new winner; Tim Nikolai took victory from Yazan Rijlah who finished second after a close fought battle all the way to the chequered flag. Third place went to Costas Papantonis. Just a couple of seconds separated the top three in both races.
The Next Dubai Autodrome Motor Sports Club will take place on April 21. Admission for the general public is free.
