Following the successful promotion of Marhaba Services in Sri Lanka and Pakistan, Dnata’s innovative airport passenger services unit at Dubai International Airport, is gearing up to boost its presence in the Indian Sub-continent with plans to market all Marhaba Services in India.

Dnata, the largest travel management services company in the U.A.E, has teamed up with Kuoni Travel Group, India, the country’s foremost travel conglomerate to sell Marhaba’s wide range of passenger-assistance services in India.

The agreement, signed by Ismail Ali Albanna, Executive Vice President, Dnata, and Zubin Karkaria, CEO and Managing Director, Kuoni India and South Asia, paves the way for travellers from India to book Marhaba services such as exclusive meet-and-greet; assistance with immigration and customs clearance; CityStop packages for transfer passengers; and auxiliary services like floral bouquets, porterage, and limousine service. The services can be booked before travel to or via Dubai from Kuoni India outlets.

For a small fee, travellers can also access the luxurious Marhaba passenger lounges at Terminal 1 at Dubai’s airport, to rest and refresh, regardless of their airline of travel.

Ismail noted: “Marhaba’s innovative services have been highly valued by our customers since its inception. We are pleased to partner with Kuoni India to make Marhaba Services more easily available to travellers from India. We continue to look at opportunities to expand Marhaba into other markets in the future.”

He added that there has been strong and growing demand for Marhaba Services amongst incentive groups, as well as leisure and business travellers from India.

Zubin commented: “India’s booming economy is fuelling a rapid increase in international travel, and bringing about many first-time travellers. For such travellers, unfamiliar with the local language and airport procedures, travelling can be stressful. Marhaba reduces this stress by assisting passengers through the airport formalities.”

Marhaba’s friendly and highly-trained staff guide travellers, whether on arrival, departure or during transit, at the ultra-modern Dubai International Airport, round-the-clock, 365 days a year.

Drawn from many nationalities and cultures, Marhaba staff are multi-lingual and specially trained to cater to the needs of tourists, families, VIP passengers and corporate business travellers. They are supported by the latest computer technology to ensure every passenger requirement is recorded and monitored.
