Masafi – one of the region’s leading FMCG brands – has been named the ‘Official Mineral Water and Juice Supplier’ of the inaugural Dubai World Championship presented by DP World.
Masafi natural mineral water and juices will quench the thirst of the spectators, players and officials at the golf tournament – the grand finale to The Race to Dubai, a season-long competition which encompasses 50 golf tournaments in 27 destinations around the globe.
The 60 qualifiers from The Race to Dubai will compete for a $7.5 million prize fund on Greg Norman’s stunning new Earth course at Jumeirah Golf Estates from November 19-22, 2009, with the winner walking away with $1.25 million. An additional $7.5 million bonus pool is also at stake for the leading 15 players in The Race to Dubai following the tournament.
This world-class field includes current race leader from England Lee Westwood, Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy, Spain’s Sergio Garcia, England’s Paul Casey, Ireland’s Padraig Harrington, Australia’s Geoff Ogilvy, Sweden’s Henrik Stenson, Colombia’s Camilo Villegas, and South Africa’s Ernie Els.
Masafi, a vocal proponent of the role of drinking sufficient mineral water and fruit juices to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle, has always supported leading sporting extravaganzas in the region.
