Sponsored by Masdar, an exhibition is being held at the European Future Energy Forum (EFEF) this week in London to showcase innovative construction projects and technologies focused on efficient building and design. Called the Masdar Future Urban Zone, the event unites companies and specific projects from around the world, including UAE's Masdar City, the emerging global clean technology cluster and sustainable urban development.
"Built environments that are capable of achieving high energy efficiency will be the cornerstone of sustainable communities of the future," said Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, CEO and managing director of Masdar. EFEF takes place at the ExCel conference centre and is part of the Future Energy series of events that includes the World Future Energy Summit held annually at ADNEC in Abu Dhabi. The forum brings together the renewable energy and clean technology industry to explore business opportunities, showcase the latest technological solutions and create an environment for discussion among business leaders, industry experts, academics and policy makers.
