ALBAWABA - A huge blaze erupted at a housing estate in Hong Kong on Wednesday, local media reported, leaving two people wounded.
A massive fire broke out at Hung Fuk Court in the Tai Po district of Hong Kong. Two people were seriously burned, while multiple others were still trapped inside the building.
Rescue workers rushed to the scene of the fire, trying to stop the blaze from expanding and attempting to rescue the people who were still locked inside Hung Fuk Court.
The South China Morning Post said that flames quickly spread across bamboo scaffolding in the Tai Po neighborhood.
A video was posted on social media showing a huge blaze and a thick black smoke rising into the sky, while firefighters are trying to put the fire under control.
Hong Kong authorities have not yet announced the cause of the fire nor revealed the number of people inside the building.
