The Mayor of Amman patronizes the Cultural Forum of the Blind on the occasion of His Majesty’s birthday

The Mayor of Amman, Omar Maani, patronized the celebration organized by the Cultural Forum of the Blind on the occasion of the Kingdom’s festivities of His Majesty King Abdullah II’s birthday, during which the longest telegraph  of loyalty and allegiance in Brill’s writing was proclaimed.
Maani said that the celebration of the forty eighth anniversary of His Majesty’s birthday is but an expression of the Jordanians love, instilled deep in their hearts, for their beloved Monarch. It is an indication of their appreciation and reverence for His wise leadership which realized many great deeds in all spheres, and made Jordan a model to be followed. The Mayor added that it is not like any normal day, but, in fact, it triggers more concerted work of giving and building.
The Head of the Local Committee, Tareq Bandar Al Hadban, reminisced on His Majesty, the Late King Hussein Ibn Talal’s statement on the day of birth of His Majesty King Abdullah,:” Abdullah shall grow up amongst you, and he shall come into the prime of his life within your ranks”, stressing that His Majesty (Abdullah) has gained more grandeur in the eyes of his people with the ongoing march of building, giving, development, and reform.
The Chairperson of the Forum, Suheir Abdul Qader, on her part, stated that the telegraph is 17 meters long with two thousand words of loyalty and allegiance to the Leader of the Nation.
The poet, Ahmad AL Ajjouri , recited a poem on behalf of the blind during the occasion , commending the Monarch :
Master! With the eye we saw you not
With a touch of warmth in a winter night
We loved you
Your love in the minds and hearts
Has been a tattoo on our chests
And runs passionately in our veins.
The celebration included a number of words expressing loyalty and allegiance to His Majesty on his birthday, in addition to some artistic performances presented by the GAM band, national songs by Al Lawziyeen band, and some comic sketches by artists Hassan Sabayleh and Rania Isma’eel.
