The older brother of actress Mia Farrow has been found dead in his Vermont art gallery in what police call “suspicious circumstances.”
The body of acclaimed sculptor Patrick Farrow, 66, was discovered by police officers at 11:30 pm on Monday night at Farrow Gallery in Castleton after receiving a tip-off from an unknown woman.
Police will not given any further details on the cause of Mr. Farrow's death until a post-mortem has been carried out. Vermont State Police Lt. Timothy Oliver said in a statement: “The victim's body is being sent to the office of the chief medical examiner for autopsy to determine cause and manner of death.”
The death of her older brother comes less than six month after Farrow’s adopted daughter Lark Previn died of an undisclosed illness in a New York hospital, seven months after her nephew Jason Dene was killed in Iraq.
Mia Farrow is the former wife of the Hollywood director Woody Allen and is most famous for her roles in Rosemary’s Baby, Hannah and Her Sisters and Crimes and Misdemeanors.
