Microsoft congratulates Morocco for arresting creator of “Zotob” virus

Microsoft congratulated Rabat for the arrest of the creator of the virus “Zotob”, which attacked in particular the operating system of Windows 2000. <i>Le Matin</i> reports that Moroccan police forces arrested an 18 year-old Moroccan for writing the virus program “Zotob” which attacked the Microsoft operating systems. Brad Smith, vice-president of Microsoft said that the continuous partnership, which exists between Microsoft and the world legal authorities, allows to identify the cyber-criminals and to protect the users.
