Oracle Corporation has invited a number of its leading customers from the Middle East to present their success stories in deploying complex IT projects to the Oracle EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) management team meeting which was held in Dubai last week. Oracle recognized with its Customer Excellence Award five customers from the region: Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, Arabian Automobiles Co, Dubai Duty Free, Saudi National Guard Health Services, HH’s Ruler’s Court of Dubai and The Corporate Office.
“Each of the award-winning customers has demonstrated clear leadership within their specific industry segments,” said Ayman Abouseif, Managing Director for Oracle in the Gulf States. “They have successfully managed complex IT projects, avoided massive customization of business software in favor of adopting built-in best processes, and have focused on organizational learning and business transformation during their project implementation.”
“Our regional customers were incredibly enthusiastic about being invited to share their expertise and success stories with Oracle’s management as well as other customers in Europe and Asia. The Middle East is increasingly being seen as an oasis of success for complex Oracle-based IT projects.”
The customer luminaries not only shared their stories, their learning and their aspirations with the Oracle EMEA team but also encouraged Oracle to use them as a reference within their respective industries. During their presentations, several customers registered their appreciation for Oracle Consulting team members who exhibited considerable commitment to the success of their projects.
Thousands of organizations in the Middle East use Oracle technology products to build and deploy applications, and some 750 organizations in the region run the Oracle E-Business Suite to manage their finances, manufacturing, supply chain or customer relationship management.
