Moroccan Foreign Minister to Visit Mauritania on Senegal Dispute

Moroccan minister of foreign affairs and cooperation, Mohamed Benaissa, is expected next Tuesday in Mauritania for mediation in the border dispute between Mauritania and Senegal, reported ArabicNews.com Wednesday. 

Quoting diplomatic sources in Rabat, the agency said that Benaissa would also convey Mauritanian President Mouaouiya Ould Sid Ahmed Taya a message from King Mohammed VI. 

King Mohammed asked the two countries to favor dialog and cooperation for the development of their border-areas within the frame of the organization for the promotion of the Senegal River, said the agency - Albawaba.com
