The forthcoming visit of Bahrain's Emir Shaikh Hamad Al Khalifa to Morocco will constitute an opportunity to further boost friendly bilateral relations and enhance co-operation between the two countries, Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Mohammed bin Issa was quoted by the Bahrain Tribune as saying Friday.
The minister said that his country "looks forward to the signing of an agreement to set up a joint supreme committee and forge closer cultural, scientific and media co-operation."
"The agreement will be a vivid testimony to the keenness of the two leaderships to promote bilateral relations for the welfare and benefit of the peoples of the two countries," he told the paper.
He praised the distinguished relations between Morocco and Bahrain, which have witnessed harmony over long years and have been characterized by mutual understanding at all levels, said the daily.
