In celebration of the 49th anniversary of the Moroccan Royal Armed Forces, FAR (Forces Armees Royales) the Moroccan King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, commended on May 14, the Moroccan army for its achievements in defending the kingdom and for contributing to peace and security in other parts of the world.
Le Matin reports that in the order of the day, prepared for this occasion, the king paid tribute to FAR for their "loyalty and dedication in carrying out their various missions of peace and security, in Morocco as well as beyond it."
