Morocco\'s King to Hold Talks in Tripoli with Kadhafi

Morocco's King Mohammed VI arrived Tuesday in Tripoli at the invitation of Libyan leader Moammer Kadhafi, reported Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).  

The king, who was received at the airport by an official delegation, is due to meet with Kadhafi to discuss "the brotherly relations that unite Morocco and Libya," said AFP, quoting the state television. 

The king's visit is the first to Tripoli since he assumed power two years ago, said KUNA. 

Both Leaders, according to the agency, will discuss political, economic cooperation, as well as regional issues. 

After his visit to Tripoli, Mohammed is due to travel to Cameroon to attend the 21st France-Africa summit, set for January 18-19, said AFP -- Albawaba.com
