Morsi supporters call for daily protests ahead of trial

Islamist oppenonts plan massive protests in the 4 days before Egypt's toppled President's trial, raising the threat of more turmoil in the region. 

In a statement, the Brotherhood-led Coalition urged all "free Egyptians" to come together in protests against these trials, starting on Friday. 

As Egypt's Islamists plan massive protests, police officers and soldiers prepare to guard the trial in anticipation of crisis developments. 

Morsi, Egypt's first democratically elected president, was ousted by the military on July 3, following protests calling for his resignation after only a year in office. Since his overthrow, the military detained Morsi in a secret location. 

Egypt's desposed president is to stand  trial Novemeber 4 on charges of inciting violence during clashes outside his palace December last year resulting in the death of dozens of people. 

In a post on the Muslim Brotherhood's website, Morsi's family stated he is not open for negoatiations or compramises, making it unclear whether Morsi will appear in courtthough the Interior Ministry official said that the ousted president will be flown by helicopter to the Torah prison complex.
 
“No matter how much they try to keep him away, the president will not retreat from a return to the democratic path, even if his soul is the price of this democratic path.” Morsi's family stated .
