Mudieb Haddad & Sons Co. supports three schools within the “Madrasati” initiative
In response to Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah’s initiative, Mudieb Haddad & Sons Co. has signed an agreement with Jordan River Foundation (JRF) / Madrasati Initiative, whereby the company will provide financial support to three schools in Zarqa city, the first-of-its-kind initiative that aims to provide a better educational environment in Jordanian public schools.
The agreement was signed by Managing Director of Mudieb Haddad & Sons Co. Mr. Nabeel M. Haddad and Director of “Madrasati” initiative Ms. Danah Dajani.
Expressing his delight for signing the agreement, Mr. Haddad said, “This step is a reflection of our confidence in the benefits of cooperation between the public and private sectors, and comes in harmony with the Her Majesty’s vision in emphasizing the meaning of social solidarity. It is also a direct response to the urgent need to develop Jordanian public schools in improving the children’s learning environment. As by virtue of this agreement, our company will support the renovation of public schools’ facilities and infrastructures through maintenance and modernization based on the schools’ needs while also supporting the integration of educational programs that benefit children in the long run within our schools. Our backing for these schools will go beyond financial support, as we plan to be effectively involved in the success of this initiative while also engaging our employees.”
From her side Dajani said “The partnership goes beyond financial support, the involvement and interest of our corporate partners such as Mudieb Haddad & Sons Co. is instrumental in making the initiative a success. This contribution helps us reach a greater number of schools; whilst broadening the educational opportunities and ensuring a better learning environment for children in our public schools.”
“Jordanian children are the future and by providing them with a proper learning environment, they will be productive members of the community and help in its overall development. We will always be keen to support initiatives that help the youth of Jordan who represent a huge segment of the Kingdom’s population,” Mr. Haddad added.
Madrasati brings together public, private and not for profit partners in an innovative new grassroots initiative. Led by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, the initiative is addressing the needs of at least 500 of Jordan’s most dilapidated public schools by enriching learning environments and enhancing opportunities for school children across the Kingdom.
