Multiforms tees off with partners in a day-long golf event in Dubai

Multiforms, the Dubai-based aluminum fabrication specialist and subsidiary of Emaar Industries and Investments (EII), teed off with its partners, clients and patrons during a day-long Corporate Golf Event which was hosted yesterday (Wednesday, February, 21 2007) at The Montgomerie, Dubai.

The “First Annual Multiforms Golf Day”, attracted keen golfers who are staff members of Multiforms and its partner companies, such as Al Futtaim Group, Al Naboodah Group, Arabtec, Emaar, ALEC, NASA Multiplex, and Mirage Mille. They were joined by patrons and invited guests of the company to tackle the 18-hole course.

Commenting on the event, Mr. Firas Rifai, Managing Director, Multiforms said, “By organising this Golf day for partners demonstrates our intent in supporting the game that in the recent past has gained wide popularity in the region. The day is also a token of our appreciation to our partners and clients in the region who have supported us in our growth and success.”

“Over the last decade since our incorporation, Multiforms has supported various sporting events in the region especially Golf,” added Rifai. “The Golf day we have organised advances our commitment to the sport and we hope to instill a love for the game to members of our staff and that of our partners.”

The day began at 11:30 am with registration followed by lunch and driving range practice. The tournament started at 1:00 pm to allow groups to play simultaneously. A gala dinner and prize distribution ceremony for winners was held at 6:30 pm to mark the end of the day. A total of 80 guests attended the evening celebrations.

The winner of the “First Annual Multiforms Golf Day” tournament was Mr. Bruce Brokonshau from Alec. First and second runner-ups were Mr. Edward Saad and Mr. Tim Spheton from Reaction Project Management.
