Toshiba Computer Systems, a division of Toshiba Europe GmbH, today added a new ultra-portable laptop to its Satellite consumer product range, the Satellite L630. The slim and light 13.3'' (33.8 cm) Satellite L630 is designed for users who need advanced computing performance whilst on the move. The Satellite L630 will be available during the second quarter of 2010 throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Weighing in at only 2.1kg, the fully featured Satellite L630 comes with an optical disc drive and a 3D sensor to protect data stored on the hard disc drive in case of drops or shocks whilst on the go.
The Satellite L630 is equipped with the Toshiba Media Controller, which makes media sharing with DLNA capable devices easy and hassle free. Another piece of software, the Toshiba Media Controller Plug-In for Internet Explorer, will also be pre-installed on the Satellite L630. The browser plug-in allows users to comfortably stream Flash videos stored on the Youtube video platform directly to a connected DLNA® capable TV set's large screen.
Dolbyâ Advanced Audio lets users experience an engaging sound over the embedded speakers or any headphones.
