The multi-talented Egyptian star Nelly, has warned producers of her upcoming series ‘Alf Leila Wa Leila,’ (A Thousand and One Nights), that she is on the verge of deserting the project, reported Al Sharq El Awsat newspaper.

Nelly’s declaration comes one day after producers of the show failed to come up with costumes in time for the first shoot.

“I will withdraw from the series if the producers do not get in shape and provide us with all the necessary props on time,” said Nelly, according to the London based daily.

Added the star, “it is not possible for the series to succeed if the actors are ready but the costumes are not. Especially after the costumes, which arrived six hours late, weren’t even made properly.”

In the open interview, Nelly added that her time away from her fans makes her even more nervous about the upcoming Ramadan series.

“My long disappearance throughout the years makes me want to do even a better job this time in order to prove to all my fans that I am still the Number 1 performing star,” she said.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Qabeel and Abir Sabri are co-starring alongside the fiery performer – Albawaba.com.
