ALBAWABA - In the 78th United Nations General Assembly in New York, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a speech that left the international community in disbelief. The most striking moment of his speech was the unveiling of a map that conspicuously excluded Palestine.

Netanyahu kicked off his speech with an air of optimism, suggesting that relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia were on the path to normalization. He confidently stated, "I hold a strong belief that we stand on the cusp of a historic peace between Israel and Saudi Arabia."

He then went on to announce the dawn of a new era of peace and urged Palestinians not to oppose this momentous initiative.

Netanyahu argued that such a peace accord could hold the key to resolving the longstanding Arab-Israeli conflicts, even hinting that it might encourage other Arab nations to follow suit in normalizing relations with Israel.

However, the most contentious part of his address came when Netanyahu outright rejected Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's steadfast claim that peace in the Middle East hinges on the establishment of a Palestinian state.

Netanyahu firmly asserted, "We should not grant Palestinians the authority to veto peace agreements with Arab nations."

This map conspicuously left out Palestine, presenting the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip as integral parts of Israel.

The absence of Palestine on this map immediately raised eyebrows and ignited a firestorm of controversy, further complicating the already intricate dynamics of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Many are now pondering the implications and potential repercussions of these developments for the future of peace negotiations in the Middle East. As international reactions continue to pour in, this story is expected to remain a major focal point of global news.
