This latest massacre comes just 48 hours after another massacre in Rafah on Sunday evening, which resulted in dozens of martyrs and injuries.

ALBAWABA- This afternoon, Tuesday, the Israeli occupation army committed a new massacre in Rafah by targeting the tents of displaced people in the Mawasi area, northwest of the city in the southern Gaza Strip. The attack resulted in at least 22 martyrs and dozens of injuries.

Hamas announced  that "the Zionist enemy committed a new massacre by targeting the tents of displaced people west of Rafah, causing dozens of martyrs and injuries."

The statement further condemned the occupation for flagrantly defying the decisions of the International Court of Justice by deliberately and directly targeting the largest number of civilians.

Hamas emphasized that this new massacre "places the entire world before the legal and moral responsibility to stand against this criminal policy."

Hamas urged the international community, the UN Security Council, and the International Court of Justice to "act urgently and make a clear and decisive decision to stop these violations."

The Government Information Office in Gaza added that the occupation army killed 72 displaced people within 48 hours by bombing tents in areas claimed to be safe west of Rafah governorate.

The statement accused the occupation of intending to continue committing more massacres against civilians and displaced people, insisting that this confirms the occupation's persistence in committing the crime of genocide with premeditation.

This, it stated, is a clear challenge to criminal and international courts and a message to all countries of the world that the killing and extermination of Palestinian civilians continue.
This latest massacre comes just 48 hours after another massacre in Rafah on Sunday evening, which resulted in dozens of martyrs and injuries.

The massacre has sparked sharp regional and international criticism of Israel, with accusations of defying international legitimacy decisions and calls for sanctions and pressure to end the "genocide" and halt the ongoing ground assault on Rafah since May 6.

International reactions condemning Sunday's massacre are still ongoing, and the United Nations Security Council is holding an emergency session today, Tuesday, regarding the incident.
