"The Indigenes," a new Moroccan film by Jamal Debbouze, tells the story of the African Army and Tabors Corps during the Second World War. Al Bayane reports Debbouze and his team wanted to tell the epic story of the Tabors soldiers, whose military sacrifices are forgotten by history. Extras for the film were selected from the French community of Saint-Loup-sur-Semouse, where about 4,000 of the inhabitants are of Moroccan origin.
