ALBAWABA - The horrific killing of a Ukrainian migrant in the U.S. subway caused wide controversy about how safe the United States is for people to live in.
Iryna Zarutska was killed on August 22 at the East/West Boulevard station on the Lynx Blue Line, in Charlotte, North Carolina, American media reported.
The story of Iryna Zarutska, a 23-year-old migrant from Ukraine, has sparked massive debate after a black man called Decarlos Brown Jr., who was on the train with her, suddenly took out his knife and stabbed her three times while seated on the train, leading to her death.
The police arrested Decarlos Brown Jr. upon exiting the train, and he was charged with first-degree murder.
