Glitzy events, celebrity spotting, hip eateries and endless shopping options are just some of the reasons New York is among the favourite holiday destinations for the trendy Middle East-based jet set.

“With such fast-paced lifestyles, trendy Middle East travellers visiting New York are looking for uncomplicated, casual, yet refined environments that offer personalised service and city-centre locations,” said Thierry Bertin, vice president sales and marketing, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts – South West Asia.

To complement this independent and progressive lifestyle, Hyatt’s newly opened Andaz Wall Street is the ideal destination for Middle Eastern guests looking for a unique atmosphere of casual elegance in “the city that never sleeps”.

“Whether it is a short getaway or an extended shopping holiday, growing numbers of fashionable and hip travellers in the region are choosing New York as a favoured destination, and are looking for hotels that accommodate their lifestyles.  At Andaz Wall Street, we offer our guests a unique experience, with dedicated services designed to meet the needs of the affluent traveller from the region,” added Bertin.

The 253-room Andaz Wall Street provides a kaleidoscope of local culture that offers guests a Lower Manhattan hotel stay unlike any other.  Every detail and every moment, from cutting-edge guestrooms to authentic farm-to-table cuisine in Wall & Water restaurant, are designed to give guests a genuine and intimate New York experience.  From the moment guests arrive and experience the hotel’s refined and relaxed check-in process, everything is unexpected, but completely intuitive.

Designed by David Rockwell and the Rockwell Group, Andaz Wall Street features warm saturated colour, natural materials and open spaces throughout the hotel’s 13 floors.  At Andaz Wall Street, a sculptural pearlescent steel and stone staircase is the central experience of the public spaces linking the Andaz Studio level to the lounge, bar, and then to the restaurant.  The lounge is panelled in two-tone bamboo and the tabletops are made of veined marble.

The hotel features a gym, The SPA and the Andaz Studio – a meeting space that is unique to Andaz hotels.  The five different Studio spaces at Andaz Wall Street encompass all the characteristics of an Andaz experience in a home-like ambience with comfortable, residential-style furniture.  The Andaz Studio’s highlight is a communal kitchen where chefs create fresh, cooked-to-order fare while interacting with guests during meeting breaks or meals.
