Zaatar w Zeit (ZwZ), the premier Lebanese chain owned by Cravia, has launched a new menu offering fresh and exciting ZwZ recipes and healthy alternatives.
Highlights of the new menu include a Multi-Cereal Dough, a healthier option containing more fibres. Also, a unique Sun-Dried Tomato Dough has been added to some items to give them better taste. The new ‘Teazers’, or appetizers section contains four kinds of quick bites: Halloumi, Sticks, Escalope Djeij, Batata W Jebneh Bil Fern and Bass Batata. While the new ‘Saladz’ section contains five new treats: Z Roquette, Z Fattouch, Z Caesar, Caesar W Djeij and Khodra Khadra.
“Our customers are our assets and their satisfaction and loyalty are our primary goals,” says Cravia CEO, Walid Hajj. “Our menu is the primary vehicle to help satisfy our customer’s needs and the menu offers some great options which will ensure loyalty as customers come back again and again to try the new items and reacquaint themselves with some old favourites.”
ZwZ new menu has a totally new look and feel, focusing on a simple but clever design, and is divided into several sections.
The ‘Manakeesh’ section contains traditional Lebanese breakfast from Zaatar to Jebneh and Labneh to Lahem Beajine.
While the ‘Speciality Wrapz’ section hosts all the specialties that have made ZwZ a regional favourite.
“We have increased the variety of our wraps so that anyone can find the perfect wrap to suit their favourite tastes,” Hajj says. “These wraps are a full meal in themselves and are the secret key to the ZwZ’s success in the region – once someone tries one, they never forget and always come back for more.”
The new wraps include a spizy chicken wrap with a special mild spicy sauce, fresh vegetables and melted cheese. The B.Beef Wrap is for meat lovers and is based on the famous Philadelphia sandwich, but with an added BBQ kick, and there is the Escalope Be3ajini, combing breaded chicken strips with fresh vegetables and garlic mayo.
A range of new desserts has also been added, including the Ktiramisu for coffee lovers, chocolate chip brownies and a chocolate mousse covered in chocolate sprinkles. There is also a cheese cake and the Lebanese favourite – Ashtalieh Overmoze.
Zaatar W Zeit was first opened in 1999 in Sodeco, Beirut. The main aim was to offer the traditional pizza like delicacies in a bright environment, “offering service with a smile”.
There are now a total of eight Zaatar w Zeit outlets throughout the UAE.
“Today, Zaatar w Zeit has become a number one destination for good dining, with its array of diverse dishes, all served with our own unique twist,” says Hajj.
