A team from Oasis International Leasing PJSC is attending the 47th Paris Air Show that is currently taking place in Le Bourget, Paris up to the 24th of this month.

The Paris Air Show is the world’s longest-established aerospace event. At the show, Oasis is highlighting its leasing and financing offerings, in one-to-one meetings with major airlines.

Commenting on the company's presence at the show, Salem Rashid Al Noaimi, Acting CEO of Oasis said: “We are actively pursuing new business opportunities at this premier show and are exploring additional investment opportunities in the aviation sector. The Paris Air Show offers the ideal networking platform for us”.

This year, almost 2,000 exhibitors including manufacturers, subcontractors and SMEs (small and medium enterprises) from around the globe are participating at the Paris Air Show. The show will present more flying static and flying displays than last year, including the world’s newest jumbo jet Airbus A380 and Lockheed Martin’s latest F-35 JSF aircraft. The show is expected to attract over 200,000 trade visitors.

In a ranking of aircraft lessors by fleet value published by Airline Business Magazine in February this year, Oasis Leasing ranked 26th in the world for 2006, four ranks above the position it occupied in 2005. “We expect to grow substantially this year as a result of new business we are actively pursuing in the MENA region,” said Al Noaimi.
