Only 0.3 percent of Morocco's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is allocated to scientific research, said an official Tuesday.
A Shortage of funds is the main obstacle facing the scientific research in the country, said the unnamed official, quoted by ArabicNews.com.
The official called for increasing funding to at least one percent of the GDP in the coming five years.
