OFIS - the furniture, flooring and interior solutions business of the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group - has expanded its extensive brand portfolio with the launch of Dauphin and BP Ergo at this year’s Office Exhibition. Other brands on display include Trendline seating systems, Wilkhahn and Unifor.
Founded in 1969 and recognised in more than 50 countries, Dauphin is one of the world's leading office seating manufacturers. It produces ergonomic seating which maintains healthy posture and safety in the office. All seating designs are made in Germany, where a team of dedicated engineers and technicians work closely with designers to produce products which are comfortable, attractive and easy to use.
Also making its UAE debut, BP Ergo’s products are engineered to provide complete comfort in the workplace. BP Ergo specialises in office systems, modular desking, storage and partitioning systems. All products are designed by Australian designer Christopher Sykes, an internationally respected designer. BP Ergo’s products are considered distinct, stylish and modern in design yet affordable.
Ajai Dayal, General Manager, Retail and Marketing, Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group, said: “The UAE is a major trade hub for the growing market in the region. The rapid real estate and commercial developments have resulted in the steady growth of the office furniture market, which is now worth approximately AED 1 billion in the UAE. We are delighted to participate in this year’s Office Exhibition. It will provide the perfect platform to highlight OFIS’s great range of unique and innovative furniture solutions.”
As well as BP Ergo and Dauphin, OFIS will present two more well known international brands at this year’s exhibition, addressing the growing need for new and innovative products in the furniture market. These include products from Parador (premium wooden flooring from Germany) and Della Valentina (office systems, free standing desks and storage ideas from Italy).
“OFIS has been a major player in the office furniture market under its previous name, Technical and Trading Establishment, for around 25 years. We have always stood for quality and have represented some of the world’s best furniture and flooring brands,” said Dayal.
“Our mission is to bring to the market a host of products that will enable people to make their ideal office environment a reality. Our participation is an important step, as we work to achieve 25 per cent annual growth over the next five years.”
A number of delegates have flown in especially for the exhibition, including Jochen Ehring, Director Dauphin, Germany; Peter Dowdy, Managing Director, Trendline seating systems UK; Erno Nemeth, International Sales Manager, Parador laminated and wooden floorings; Marco Tenani, International Export Manager, Della Valentina furniture systems, Mr. Padmanabhan, CEO, and Alok Tibrewalla, General Manager, Sales and Marketing, BP Ergo modular furniture systems.
