Oger Telecom, the Dubai-based leading telecommunications, multimedia operator, with approximately 30 million subscribers under management is pleased to announce through its majority shareholding in Turk Telekom the launch, in conjunction with the Turkish Government, Microsoft and Intel; The ‘Internet for Each Home, PC for Each Home’ campaign in Turkey. This campaign comes just 2 weeks after Oger Telecom opened its Headquarters in the Dubai International Financial Centre. The event was attended by Prime Minister of Turkey Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Chairman of Oger Telecom Mr. Mohammed Hariri.
Oger Telecom, with its 55% ownership of Turk Telekom the leading fixed line operator in Turkey and TTNet, Turk Telekom’s internet service provider, has developed the ‘Internet for Each Home, PC for Each Home’ campaign in conjunction with Microsoft, the world leader in computer software and Intel the world leader in silicon innovations as well as local PC vendors Vestel and Casper. The new campaign is aimed at providing homes across Turkey with access to ADSL. The long-term aspiration of this campaign is to increase PC and ADSL penetration in Turkey.

During the launch the Prime Minister of Turkey Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan supported the initiative by sending an email to 81 children in 81 cities across Turkey who have already signed up to the campaign saying:
